If you're uncertain exactly what this blog is about, join the club. 'I'm Not in Kansas (or Iowa) Anymore!' started as a personal challenge to write a blog post every single day for a month to help me be more present and better remember my time in Bangalore, India. Writing every day became therapeutic at times and obligatory at others, but when the end of the month came around, I couldn't make myself stop. I love a good challenge, so I decided I would try to write a blog post every single day for an entire year.

So, if nothing else, I'm Not in Kansas is an honest glimpse into the day-to-day life of a midwest college girl trying to find her way. It's personal, with the tendency to be funny, ridiculous, and hopefully thought-provoking at times. In other words, it's me. It's Kailyn.
