Blog #83: I'm Frustrated

I'm so tired of being cooped up in this apartment alone and I'm so tired of trying to get in touch with people who won't get in touch with me and I'm so tired of things being unsettled back home while I'm here with no means of settling them. Aaaggghghghhhhhhhhh.

Every time I think I've found a place to stay in Chicago for my summer internship it turns out being a dead-end. Couple with this the 10.5 hour time difference and the fact that I can only communicate with people in Chicago via email, and I've got an incredibly frustrating situation.

I've sent numerous complaints to the cab company about our absolute nightmare of a cab drive, and have gotten no response. Every time I try to call, I get hung up on.

One of our buses cancelled on us last minute, and guaranteed a refund, which I am still yet to see. All attempts to contact somebody about the refund have been a dead-end.

I've been sick for four days now!! And even though I'm feeling quite a bit better at this point, I now have to figure out insurance stuff for my doctors visit and blood test, etc.

Etc.

Etc.

Etc.

All of these are problems I'm sure will be settled relatively soon, but at this point in time, I'm just frustrated!! I want people to do their job and get in touch with me and get things figured out, because I'm tired of depending on people seemingly out of reach across the world or behind a screen. Ugh.

Anyway, at least this blog is more than just me saying I'm sick. From this point forward I believe we can return to our regularly scheduled content.
