After watching Brené Brown's Netflix special on vulnerability, Sarah, Mary Alice, Sequoia, and I were inspired to buy some of her books and read them. Toward the end of our trip, as an idea of a way to stay in touch better, we decided to do a virtual book club!

Tonight was our second virtual meeting, and we discussed the first couple chapters of "The Gifts of Imperfection." We had some good conversation about the book, but we also of course managed to get quite off topic at times, which I honestly don't mind.

Today was also a nice day because I got to take a yoga class for free here on campus, and I also decided not to renew a certain commitment which was no longer serving my wellbeing. That was a hard decision, but I'm proud of myself for honoring my needs and practicing my ability to say no.

I'm ready to graduate and get the heck out of Sioux City, but I'm also stuck here for the next few months, so I just as well have fun while I can. Today seemed like a good sign that I will be having fun this semester, aided by letting some things go.
