As the saying goes, Ally and I are back on our bullsh*t. After talking on the phone for an hour as I was driving back (I guess we couldn't wait two more hours until we were in the same place), we reunited and almost immediately went to the airport to pick up Sofia.
When we got back, Ally surprised me with a Christmas gift, part of which was a Jesse McCartney vinyl. I'm telling you, this is next-level.
Of course the album is Beautiful Soul, the soundtrack of our respective pre-teen years, so we put it on and sang our hearts out, complete with dance moves.
We also went to "grocery bingo," and I won the only thing I really wanted; a pack of toilet paper. In fact, as soon as I got the toilet paper, we left. At best, we would have just gotten another pack of toilet paper. Also, it's sad how excited I am about it... but it's higher quality toilet paper than anything I'd ever buy, and it's a nine pack. I guess this is how I know I'm growing up; I get excited about toilet paper.
Of course, our usual conversations of hilarious nonsense, apocalypse preparation, and disbelief at the news filled every waking moment. In other words, we're back on our bullsh*t.
