Blog #328: Kansas Has My Family and Good Sunsets

There are few things I like about Kansas. I think we've been over this. If we haven't, remember what I said about why I don't like Sioux City? Basically all the same things apply. (Quick refresher- lack of diversity, lack of culture, pervasive conservative/"traditional" general mindset and politics, nothing to do, etc.)

That said, there are two things Kansas really has going for it at the moment. First of all, my family is here. Important. Secondly, it's hard to beat a Kansas sunset. I really can't tell you why, but almost every single evening, the sky is painted in hues of pink and orange and purple and red that I'll swear I've never seen before.

And, my friends, those are the two things that make Kansas bearable.
