I've heard/read many times that study breaks are important for effective studying- every hour, you should take a 20 minute break to refresh your mind and stay focused on the task at hand.

Yeah yeah yeah... For sure.

Personally, I'm really good at the whole study break thing. I can take a "break" before I even start studying, "break" for the rest of the day, or even take a break from my break. The studying part though? A bit more of a challenge.

At best, I do the opposite of a recommended study break; I break for an hour and work for 20 minutes.

During this "break" from doing virtually nothing, I can fill my time with just about anything. Laundry, ukulele, napping, Target runs, Instagram, Netflix, etc. Seriously, when I say I'm good at taking breaks, I mean it.

On that note, though, wish me luck this finals week. I've been taking quite the break and it's catching up to me.
