It's finally Thanksgiving Break... kind of.
I technically still have one more day of class, but a blizzard is set to roll into town tomorrow afternoon, and I've almost died driving in blizzards to many times to risk it again. So, I'm skipping my afternoon class tomorrow (with the approval of my professor) and I'm hitting the road early. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be home before my class is even ending here on campus.
I'm also bringing Sofi with me, and I'm so excited! She is loads of fun, and I know the family will love her.
Additionally, this is the first time my whole nuclear family will be together since last Christmas, and it'll be the first time seeing any of my extended family since Christmas as well! It's my own fault for moving straight from India to Chicago to Sioux City, but I'm excited to finally see everyone again.
Here's to another Thanksgiving, another cousin coffee trail trek (see below), and a blizzard-free drive home.
