I'm just going to say it; our games yesterday were tough. I think most everyone got in some sort of physical altercation, and most of us have the bruises to prove it.

Beyond that, we just ran... a lot. Everyone I've talked to has said their calves are killing them, and I'm no exception. In the words of Ally, "My legs? Yeah... They're not okay."

It only follows, then, that we'd spend the better part of today complaining about our aches and pains. In person and over text, Sofi, Rashmi, Ally, and I made sure to let each other know how miserable we were. It wasn't a competition, but instead, we found comfort in knowing that we were all suffering together. At one point, we all sent each other a selfie to demonstrate just how worn out we were, and with that was borne the Portraits of (Not So) Broken Women.

The collection has been named in this manner to indicate that, despite our obvious pain and exhaustion, we powered through something tough and will continue to power through. We may look broken, but indeed, we are far from that. We're pretty badass, if you ask me.

So, without further ado, I present Portraits of (Not So) Broken Women.
