Blog #246: A Saturday With the Boys

Jolson was slated to perform this weekend for Middle of the Map Fest in Kansas City, so I'd been planing to come down to watch him for a while. My mom wasn't able to make it, which meant it was just Gavin and my dad who would also be there watching Jolson. Without Mariel or my mom, it was just a day with the boys!

Jolson did amazing, and Gavin and I had fun dancing while he performed. After everything was over, we had Thai food for dinner (my favorite other than Mexican), and I finally got to see Jolson's apartment.

Tomorrow we'll be making brunch for Grandma Dee and hanging out until both Gavin and Jolson have to go to band practice. I'll drive home at some point tomorrow, which makes for a pretty short visit, but it was so cool to watch Jolson perform and see the boys.
