Blog #305: Jolson & Sofi, AKA Chi-Town Babes

Today was Jolson's birthday, and tomorrow (technically, at this point, today) is Sofia's! Who would have guessed that a couple of my favorite people would have birthdays just one day apart?

Jolson is now 19, though at times I feel like he's older than he is. Still, I feel like I was 19 just yesterday, so it's weird to imagine him being at the same stage in his life.

Sofi is now 21, which is insignificant for her at home, but special here in the United States! She's one of the last of my friends to turn 21, which means we're all just getting old from here on out.

I love both of these people bunches, and spending a summer with them in Chicago was just crazy amounts of fun. It's also a cool feeling that they know each other and are kind of friends too. I can talk to Sofia about Jolson or talk to Jols about Sofi, and they both have a deeper understanding of what I'm actually talking about.

So, happy birthday to both of these amazing people, AKA my Chi-Town Babes.
