Blog #23: A New Challenge?

Because I am insane, I am considering writing a blog post every. single. day. not just for the month of Feb, but for an entire year. I’ve made it through about 3.5 weeks of writing one every day, and even though I’ve hated it and dreaded it at times, I have also enjoyed the challenge. And, although many of my posts have been short and fairly bad quality, it has forced me to think and reflect on something at the end of each day. Whether it’s my mental health or white privilege, or simply my love for Indian food or playing the ukulele, writing a blog post every day has made me practice reflection much more consistently. It has been annoying at times, but is also good for me.

So… am I crazy? Maybe. But part of me wants to do this so I can challenge myself and have something to look back on to remember the craziness that this upcoming year will be. I know it will be very difficult, and that I will write a lot of crappy posts. But maybe accepting that as part of the whole package will be a learning experience too. Maybe I’m crazy enough to actually try this. Stay tuned, folks.
