Blog #225: I'm Sore

Lacrosse practice is tough sometimes, but the hardest part about it is that I can feel it long after practice ends. Sprinting for 15 minutes is rough, but being so sore I can barely walk may honestly be rougher.

Today, before even going to practice, I was sore from our lifting session last night. My abs in particular were feeling it. Then, after practice, everything was sore. I've been feeling it basically head to toe today. To add to it, I was serving on the balcony tonight, which meant I had to go up and down the stairs during my shift to take care of guests. I barely felt like I could move, let alone run up stairs 100 times.

I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow, I'm just hoping it's not worse than today. I also hope at some point all this soreness will mean my limbs aren't as much like noodles. I'm ready to be "swole," as probably nobody says anymore.

One time in Guatemala my Spanish teacher told me I have the legs of a mosquito. She wasn't wrong. This photo is old, but my legs and arms are equally as muscular to this day.
