Morningside has something called the Waitt Lecture, which is an event where a well-known speaker comes to campus and delivers a speech, typically with the opportunity for students and community members to ask them questions at the end. The Waitt lecture series was established by Norm Waitt, a Morningside alum.

This year's speaker is Bob Woodward, a well-known journalist who's most recent book is called "Fear." In the book, Woodward talks about President Trump's time in the White House and how he makes his domestic and foreign policy decisions, based on firsthand interviews with witnesses.

My professor was kind enough to buy me a copy of the book, which I'm very excited to start reading! What Ally is not so excited about, and I must say I agree on this one, is seeing President Trump's face around our apartment all the time now. If you know us... I'll just say you know that isn't quite our style. Wish us luck as we add this glaring red face to our bookshelf.
