Blog #214: First Day of Practice

Today was my first day of lacrosse practice! I was pretty nervous, considering I joined a varsity college sport with literally zero experience in said sport, but it wasn't nearly as difficult or embarrassing as I previously imagined.

I mean... it was still pretty difficult. I definitely felt like I was going to throw up a time or two, but I didn't! Honestly, that's about all I could want.

It's going to keep being tough, but I'm pretty excited to get in shape and be more active, as well as learn something new! That's always something I look forward to.

On a completely unrelated note, this is a picture of Manuel, Courtney, and I probably the second day we met. I dug it up for Manuel's birthday yesterday! We were all such babies back then, with no idea we'd be in Rome (Courtney), China (Manuel), or joining a lacrosse team. Life is weird.
