Blog #21: Ukulele

I bought a ukulele today! After telling each other that we would go to the music store for weeks, Sarah and I actually finally went.

We broke in our instruments together by singing/playing with friends for a few hours, even though it barely felt like one. Music has such a funny way of pulling you in and making time go by faster. We sang dozens of songs— many of which I knew already, some of which were entirely new to me. Regardless, I was just happy to be with friends and make some music. It was such a nice way to unwind toward the end of a long week.
