Blog #205: An Open Weekend

Essentially since I've started college, I've worked every weekend. It wasn't ever a casual one or two shifts a weekend either, it was between 25-30 hours packed between Friday night, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday. The only weekends I didn't work this much were basically Homecoming, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Now that I'm back at M'Side without a job currently (but not for long), I have had more time than ever before. I literally didn't have a single commitment this past weekend, and it was... weird. There was just so much time and I didn't know what to do with all of it! I played lacrosse with Ally, got in some good sleep, and even did my homework... wait for it... THREE DAYS EARLY. It never occurred to me how much I could do in a weekend if I didn't fill every waking hour with work. What a concept.

One of many selfies that occurred in my 2.5 years at the Olive Garden.
