Blog #190: Reunions

Although basically all I did today was drive, I also did something very exciting; I reconnected with good friends. I started with Courtney in Ames, who is leaving soon for a semester in Rome! My best friend since my third day of life (true story), there's no friend quite like her. We couldn't stop talking, and no visit could have been long enough to squeeze everything in.

After that visit, I returned to Sioux City after about nine months, which was a surreal feeling. Ally greeted me at the door of our new apartment (which I'm SOOOO excited for!!) and we laughed and talked like we haven't been apart for the last nine months. Eventually, Sterling came to join us, and it was so nice to have the three of us together again.

Although it's always fun and exciting to be all over the place, it's also very nice to find comfort in people I can return to over time. I'm very lucky for the friends I've found in this life.
