yet so close

some people know more

most people know less

why is it so hard

to tell the people

who know my biggest flaws

that i'm not perfect

because i'm not perfect

and i can say that

to anyone

except the people who

actually

truly

deeply

know that

i mean maybe

i could suppose that

it's because

they deserve more

than an imperfect me

because

a perfect me

wouldn't even be

good enough
