The 2020 presidential election is really off and running! But... let's be honest. This election started back in 2016.

Yet, unlike the vast majority of sane Americans, I don't mind an incessant election season. I love the excitement of competing ideas and appealing to millions of different people across the nation.

So, with tonight being the first night of the first official Democratic Debate (as the primary field is already so big the candidates had to be split into two groups and debate over a two-night period), I was pumped. Political debates to me are essentially the equivalent of sporting events to other people. If I had more than like one friend here in Chicago, I would have thrown a party.

Anyway, the two-hour debate was incredibly interesting, and kind of solidified a lot of thoughts I already had going through my head. I won't type out political opinions on here to be released publicly and permanently, but if you're just dying to know what I actually thought about the debate, ask and you shall receive.

Now, I'm just ready for Round Two tomorrow night!
