Blog #140: Yo Yo Ma

Today Yo Yo Ma had a free concert in the park, and boy was I pumped. I love this man. I have wanted to see him live for years.

But, apparently, the rest of the city of Chicago also gets down to some Ma.

I arrived at the park 30 minutes early, waited in line for an hour, and once there were only about ten people in front of me in line, we were told they were at capacity and nobody else could enter. Let me tell you, I was devastated.

I'm too poor to pay lots of money to see him somewhere else, and he's never anywhere near where I am anyway. So, we'll suffice to say that I was majorly disappointed when I couldn't even catch a glance of him today.

That said, I had a fun time with Jolson and Sofia, and I'm sure I will see Yo Yo Ma at some point in the future. It simply has to happen.
